Our vision: A future in which there is equality of access to justice, and women and children are free from domestic and family violence.
Our purposes: Providing equitable and accessible legal services to our community and empowering women and children to break the cycle of domestic and family violence.
When we started in 1986, we had a small budget and a part-time staff of two. Now we are one of the larger domestic and family violence services in NSW, with over 50 staff.
We provide a range of services and are supported by a committed team with diverse expertise:
- legal services
- community legal education
- domestic and family violence services (including support, advocacy and case management) for women and children.
We provide services to people living or working in the local government areas of Liverpool, Fairfield and Canterbury-Bankstown. We now also deliver some services in the Eastern Suburbs, Sydney City, and the Inner West.
