What we do

SWSLC is a generalist legal service that provides legal advice, assistance and representation for a wide range of legal problems. SWSLC also devotes considerable time to Community Legal Education (CLE) and is committed to law reform initiatives. Our services include:

• Free legal advice in most areas of the law
• Free legal representation for eligible individuals or groups (a small contribution may be required) subject to available resources and pirority ranking of matter type
• Free legal seminars for service providers, groups and public
• Women's Domestic Violence Court Advocacy Service 
• Staying Home Leaving Violence Service 
• Family Relationship Centre Legal Support Service
• Child Support Legal Service
