Although SWSLC receives government funding, this is not enough to satisfy the demand for free legal services for the many disadvantaged people in our region. The contribution of volunteers, sponsors and donors is very important to SWSLC’s capacity to increase and extend its services to better meet this need.
SWSLC has charity status. All donations over $2 are tax deductible.
How you can donate
South West Sydney Legal Centre is registered with GiveNow, an initiative of the Our Community Foundation, a not-for-profit supported by Westpac to facilitate on line donations. This commission-free online donations service allows you to make a donation easily and securely with the confidence that 100% of your donation will reach your chosen charity.
“Click on our donations button to the right of this page to make a donation now.”
South West Sydney Legal Centre is registered with Charities Aid Foundation, who provides a service where employees donate part of their regular income to a charity of their choice through their employer’s payroll system. The funds are deducted from the employee’s pay before tax so it minimises expense for the employee and maximises the benefit to the charity. Some employers even choose to match employee donations!
If your workplace is registered with Charities Aid Foundation you can donate to South West Sydney Legal Centre now. Want to learn more about workplace giving and how your workplace can become a workplace giver? Go to the good2give website for more information.
The staff and management of SWSLC extend our sincere gratitude to our sponsors, volunteers and donors for your valuable and kind contributions.
Your support makes a critical difference to our capacity to deliver free legal services to the disadvantaged members or our community.
